All teachers at Yoga Jo's have taken training from knowledgeable and skilled teachers around the country. Each teacher participates in regular classes at both Yoga Jo's and other studios in the area. This enables them to keep their own practice fresh and bring new information to the students as they learn more.

Jo Canfield, ERYT & Certified Yoga Teacher & Owner of Yoga Jo's Studio, Inc.  During a class with Jo, you will receive a great workout combined with laughter and fun.  She provides encouragement and motivation for each student to experiment and bring awareness to each pose.  Be prepared to sweat, laugh and walk out of class a little lighter and a little happier.  Jo has been practicing yoga since 1998. She began practicing at the Yoga Institute in Houston, Texas. In 2000, Jo attended a 200-hour certification course to become a Yoga Teacher at the Yoga Therapy College of Houston. Previous to that she trained as a massage therapist at The Winters School in Houston, Texas. In May of 2001, Jo began teaching Yoga at Hill AFB and taught classes 3 times a week for 14 months before leaving to start Yoga Jo's Studio, Inc. In September 2002, Jo completed a 40 hour course in Power Yoga with D'ana Baptiste of Baptiste Studios.  You can email Jo directly at Jo Canfield 

Alison Trowbridge, RYT & Certified Yoga Teacher since 2005,- Alison "Al" Trowbridge has been studying Yoga since 2000.  She has had extensive training in Power and Core Yoga which encourages students to go beyond the normal limitations that they set for themselves. Al also teaches Pranayama -  Pranayama is loosely translated as prana or breath control. The ancient yogis developed many breathing techniques to maximize the benefits of prana. Pranayama is used in yoga as a separate practice to help clear and cleanse the body and mind. Al has attended many workshops to broaden her learning with Certified Instructors and recognized names such as D'ana Baptiste, Becky Jordan, Charlotte Bell, Anna Forrest and of course, Jo Canfield. In addition to her traditional Yoga training, Al also has a BS from Weber State University and a Masters Degree from Embry-Riddle University.

Tylin VanAusdal, Certified Yoga Teacher 2007- Tylin has been practicing yoga since she first took a yoga class at Weber State University in 2006. The physical, mental, and spiritual balance that yoga provides are what keeps her coming back for more. Tylin has found that every time she practices, she needs something different from yoga (she has not been disappointed yet). Her view point is, “If you are having a horrible, stress-filled day, yoga is the remedy. If you are having an amazing, perfect day, yoga is the best complement.” Tylin is constantly on the path of leaning about yoga; come to learn with her on Thursday nights.

Brad Carroll, RYT & Certified Yoga Teacher since 2007,- Brad enjoys filling in and teaching yoga classes when the regular teachers can't be there.  He started taking yoga classes in January 2005 on the advice of his doctor, and since then his breathing, strength, and endurance have improved enormously.  He is devoted to a daily practice; it brings him peace of mind and he feels better throughout the day.  Brad also teaches at Weber State University.
